This role involves generating highly novel ideas to tackle grand challenges in healthcare, specifically in resource constrained countries. Darlington is involved in engineering these ideas to an advanced state of feasibility by evaluating and participating in their implementation. He is excited about the prospect and opportunities that are unlocked by viewing healthcare with a different lens. Seeing technological innovation alleviating human suffering from a multiplicity of diseases is at the core of my research, with an ultimate goal of preventing and improving health related outcomes.
